I reduce my energy consumption

I switch off my electrical appliances rather than leaving them in standby mode
The annual cost of this accumulation of this “low consumption” over time can often be greater than the appliance’s consumption in operating mode!

I leave my heating on at night during cold weather
The savings made by turning your heating off will be wiped out by the energy needed to make up the lost degrees. And it’s important to improve how your home is insulated.

I wash my clothes at low temperatures
Washing clothes at 30ºC consumes three times less energy than at 90ºC and twice less at 40ºC.

I choose my products

I buy second-hand
Giving a second life to products is not only a great way to save money, it prevents the production of new products and reduces waste consumes.

I choose “eco” and “sustainable clothing”
Manufacturing a man’s white cotton T-shirt weighing 155 grams has emitted 6,5 kilograms of CO2. This is 10 times more than for an equivalent T-shirt which is made with renewable energy and ecological cotton.

I do not become a victim of fast fashion
The 2000s have seen arrival of fast fashion: more an more cut-price clothes. Their ecological impact is enormous: textile production accounts for 1,2 billion tonnes of CO2 per year.
